Coverage options
Safety observer coverage, by schedule, shift or project.
You can book NSC Enterprises safety observers on a scheduled, shift-based or project-based basis, staffed to match your schedule. Add an observer for a critical phase, cover shifts your own safety staff cannot reach, or carry coverage through the whole project. Every option runs under the same written protocol.
Three ways to book
Pick the coverage that fits the phase.
Scheduled
Set days or set hours on site, on a recurring schedule.
Suits
- A steady written record between your own inspections
- Recurring site walks on a set route
- Projects where your safety staff covers most days
Shift-based
Coverage for the specific shifts you need observed.
Suits
- Shifts your safety staff cannot cover in person
- High-risk tasks scheduled for particular shifts
- Peaks in headcount on certain days
Project-based
An observer assigned for a phase or for the duration of the project.
Suits
- A critical phase, such as fit-out of the data halls
- Long stretches of high-risk work
- Owners or teams who want one consistent observer
Every option
The same four steps before day one.
01 · Scope
Define the coverage
We talk through the project, the phase, the high-risk work ahead and the coverage you need: scheduled, shift-based or project-based.
02 · Protocol
Put it in writing
Areas and activities to observe, your designated representatives, the reporting timeframe and the escalation path, agreed before day one.
03 · Mobilize
Assign a vetted observer
Credentials and training are verified against your project's personnel standards before the observer is assigned to your site.
04 · Report
Observe, log, escalate
Daily or weekly logs go to your representatives on the agreed schedule. Imminent hazards are escalated immediately.
